Mid-Lauderdale Volunteer Fire Department was established in the Spring of 1971 to provide fire protection to the St. Florian, Mt. Zion, Jacksonburg, Kilburn Beach, Bailey Springs communities and surrounding areas in central Lauderdale County, Alabama. Today, MLVFD continues to provide fire protection and other public safety services to our community as well as the neighboring communities of Underwood-Petersville, Zip City, Greenhill, and Killen through mutual aid partnerships.
